Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FontPreview (the "Service"), provided by Infilimits Technologies Private Limited, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you can bind it, and "you" means that organisation.

1. The Service

FontPreview stores font files you upload and renders images of text set in those fonts, delivered through embeddable widgets and an API. Font files are kept in private storage and are not made available for download through the Service.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information.
• Keep your password and API keys confidential. Live API keys must only be used server-side. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys, including by team members you invite.
• Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Your content and font licences

"Your Content" means fonts, text, images and other material you upload or configure. You keep all rights in Your Content.

You may only upload fonts that you own or are licensed to use this way. By uploading a font you represent and warrant that you have the rights needed for us to store it and render images of it for display on the websites you configure, and that doing so doesn't breach any licence (including restrictions on server-side or web use) or anyone's rights.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process and render Your Content solely to provide, secure and improve the Service for you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to section 10.

4. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We respond to copyright complaints under our Copyright & DMCA Policy, which includes terminating repeat infringers.

5. Plans, billing and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance in US dollars through our payment processor, Stripe (or through Shopify if you subscribe via our Shopify app). Prices are shown on our pricing page. Taxes may apply.
• Upgrades take effect immediately. You're charged the prorated difference for the rest of the current billing period at once, and the new price applies from your next renewal. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you can undo the cancellation until then. After that your account moves to the Free plan.
• Refunds: Payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods and unused plan limits, except where the law requires a refund. Cancelling stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
• If a renewal payment fails, your plan stays active while Stripe retries the payment over a period of up to a few weeks and emails you to update your payment method. If every retry fails, the subscription ends and the account moves to the Free plan.
• When an account moves to a lower plan, resources over that plan's limits are disabled (not deleted) and re-enabled if you upgrade.
• Plan limits (renders, fonts, storage, keys and others) are part of your plan. When a limit is reached, the related feature may stop until the next period or an upgrade.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

6. Watermarks

Rendered images include a watermark unless your plan allows it to be changed or removed. You must not remove, obscure or alter a watermark by technical means.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided without a service-level guarantee unless agreed in a separate written agreement. We may change or discontinue features; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes that reduce functionality of a paid plan.

8. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or as required by law. Where reasonable we'll give notice first.

9. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that renders will be error-free or that the Service will prevent every form of copying of your fonts.

10. Data deletion

When you delete a font or your account, we delete the associated files and records from live systems promptly. Residual copies in backups and logs are removed within 30 days, and aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics may be retained. See our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or USD 100 if greater). Nothing limits liability that can't be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from Your Content (including claims that a font you uploaded infringes someone's rights) or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the changes.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence are not affected.
